Can I use my own stylesheet for embedding into our web site?

Not at the moment, although this feature would be trivial to add so if you are interested please e-mail me.

I already have a duty system with data in, can I import this data into your system?

Yes you can depending on the format and content of your data. If you package up your data and e-mail it to me I can see what I am able to do about importing it into this system

I already have a duty system and would like to integrate it with yours, can I do this?

Not at the moment because I haven't had any such requests. If you e-mail me I can have a look at your system and we can then discuss ways forward on possible integration.

I'd like to use your system but I'd like to develop a custom interface for our unit, do you offer web services or similar integration method?

Yes. See the web services page available from the menu on the left.

Are you releasing the source for your system?

Not publically at the moment whilst it is still under active revision - although I hope to release it under an open source licence. If you wish to see the code or reuse it before I release it then I am sure this will be possible.

Want to contribute?

Great! Contact me first and let's discuss how. Please do not spend hours developing an add on without contacting me first and then send it to me as the chances are it will not be compatible with the existing system.

How is your site developed? What server is it running? etc

The site was developed using the CakePHP framework and took approximately 30 hours. It runs on a Enterprise Linux system using Apache and MySQL. The system is optimised with a PHP op-code cache and MySQL query cache to improve performance. The server is connected to the Internet by multiple high-speed redundant connections. Data are backed up daily to an off-site secure location and stored in encrypted format. Software patches are also applied automatically to minimise the risk of vulnerability. We have round-the-clock teams of engineers ensuring our servers stay up all the time.
